HAPPY 2022!
This year can’t be any worse than the last two, so I am excited
and optimistic. For one thing I don’t have to worry about buying and selling
homes, moving and selling my coach. I’m completely settled in and can devote
all my time to normal life and business.
I have some exciting business plans and hope they happen in
the first quarter of the year. I’m confident they will be of a benefit to my Entertainment,
Group Health and Professional Small Business programs.
SKYPE vs ZOOM
I want to address my thoughts on video conferencing: there
is no question that Zoom has become the leader in this sphere, but I’ve been reluctant
to install and use. I’m just not comfortable with a service where 95% of support
comes from China – even if it is owned by a U.S. citizen. For this reason, I’ve
chosen to continue with Skype where everything is U.S. based. I can receive video
calls from a Zoom caller without installing the program, so I have the bases
covered while remaining in my comfort level.
